Avengers: Endgame is not a perfect movie but it is a perfect drama for the fans. Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansonn, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. live the movie. They perform perfectly. This movie targets the fans, so if you are not a fan I don't advise it. There are a lot of details for the fans. You will feel the fan services in your veins. With an epic final battle, Avengers: Endgame satisfies the fans. It makes sad, it makes happy, it causes excite. It closes a saga and opens a new one for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love MCU 3000, I love this movie 3000.

I'll keep this short and spoiler free.
Simply, it doesn't compare in story, performances, characters, structure, or even excitement to Infinity War. Infinity War far surpassed expectations on all fronts where unfortunately Endgame comes short.
It's a fun movie and there's great and powerful moments. But ultimately there wasn't nearly enough suspense, and the plot was far too messy and borderline lazy.
It was a good movie but I'm sad to say a disappointment in regards to what came before and in regards to the place it holds now in the history of the MCU.
If you're just looking for a fun movie and are willing to ignore major plot holes, lazy story elements, and lacklustre character choices hopefully you can enjoy it for what it is. But it's no Infinity War; and although it has redeeming elements (which on their own could've been part of a great film) it's overall a disappointment. Lower your expectations. I hope you like it better than I did.

This movie is 3 hours of fanservice, but it all comes from the best place possible: from the love of this franchise, it's characters and to reward the fans such as myself. So I can't rate it like I wasn't a fan. Sorry.
Visually it's always the best you can imagine. The final fight is jaw-dropping, with some really "must use as wallpaper material" shots like Cap standing against Thanos and his army and such.
The cinematography is stunning and more stylish than ever. Like the blurred image of Thor leaving Thanos' farm house with that beautiful music at the end of the first chapter of the film.
The IMAX 3D really comlimented the visuals here and there, but it's not needed.
The music is most likely the best from all Avengers movies here, even if it's not memorable like it's always tend to be, it really helps the tone.
People tend to say this is not acting what these people do in the Avengers movies but try to talk with green screen or while your colleague has some weird bubbles on him/herself and make it believeable for the audience. Don't underestimate these movies people like Thanos did with the Avengers.
The characters are all at their best here, at least who are in the meat of the movie. And all the bring back characters has their very little, but effective moments. The tragic moments will shock you, the funny moments will make you laugh your ass off, and all the in-between moments will entertain you. A lot of encounters and re-connetions happen in this film and all of them varies to heartwarming to wholesome to touching. Tony's daughter's line that Tony gives her back at the end is wholesomely touching. There are no dull or unwanted scenes I could think of. Even if you disagree with some choices the directors made they still great ideas, and show a new side of the characters. There are so many callbacks to scenes or lines that will make you smile, warm your heart or even cry that I couldn't count. The story is more interesting than Infinity War and never sits down for a moment, but gives some breathing moments for you to buckle up for the next big one. The twists and turns are mostly unpredictable, even if you thought who will die, they die in a surprising way.
And with the previous statement we came to the really spoilery part of the review:
HUGE SPOILERS:
The 4 best parts of the movie were for me all about to give the best farewells to Cap and Tony.
1. Cap uses Mjölnir in maybe the best coreographed and most heavy fight with Thanos is just a scene were you can't do anything else just cheer and be happy to live in this age.
2. Tony dies with the most memorable fashion, saying "I am Iron Man" to Thanos after we've seen the most satisfying scene ever: Thanos tries to snap but nothing happens, becasue Tony has the gauntlet he made with all the stones. And Pepper telling Tony at his final moments that everyone is safe and he can rest now made me genuinely cry the first time sitting in a movie theater.
3. Tony's funeral on the river where his house stands, with all his friends watching and the audience reading the text stating that there's the proof Tony Stark had a heart with his iconic chest plate is made me cry even more.
4. Cap finally goes back to Peggy to compliance his promise and dance with her is the perfect ending scene to his arc, and to this Golden Age of Marvel Cinema.
SPOILERS END!
The only negative is that you didn't had to watch Captain Marvel for this movie, but that's not the movie's fault, but the false advertisement's. She doesn't contributes much, really dull and uninteresting but at least has really few screen time. And she does her job, being powerful and not stealing the show from the older characters who deserve the spotlights. Her hair is ultra lame tho, even if it was a reference to her late mentor. I could've be picky and say some characters could live if they used the stones and qauntum realm, butt that would've just destroy their character arcs in an instant. It works in movies like Deadpool where there are no rules, but not here. And for some of the characters really needed to die, and fulfill their purpose in the grand story.
I could just go on and on what I loved about this movie, but that would be just boring and you will watch this movie even if you don't read a random 22 year old guy's review on the internet. So there are my closing thoughts on the movie and the Avengers franchsie in general.
The Avengers in 2012 showed us something new and never done before, Age of Ultron with it's problems was a likeable and entertaining movie that had some great groundwork for later movies, Infinity War made the impossible come true, and Endgame complimented the fans of the series the best way possible that everyone will remember as the next decades come. Thank you Russo Brothers, the Avengers cast, everyone worked on these movies (even the weaker ones) and especially for Stan Lee to made my childhood dream possible. f.u.c.k. I'm crying even while writing this review. So it's time to END it here. Thanks for reading.
